things i learned at the warped tour

1. security guard 0083 is a pussy.
2. thursday is a feminist band and writes feminist songs. really. the lead singer said it so it must be true.
3. against me! is a kickass band.
4. getting lost in the ghetto is a bad idea/never take directions from the arab dude at the citgo on 6th street in milwaukee
5. getting stuck in the middle of a circle pit is no fun
6. sunscreen won't always save your skin
7. some people dress up like waldo for fun
8. victor's hair feels really cool (his words) when covered in other people's sweat and spilled beer/cars get really stinky really fast when two people covered in said mixture are in them together with the windows closed
9. don't steal from the warped tour (i didn't try but i did witness a few attempts- theives get chased down really fast)
10. free "don't get emo" stickers are the shit.

other than that, not much to say here.

news i guess

i don't know a whole hell of a lot right now. i'm sitting at work, as usual. later on i'm going over to victor's i think. we need to go get our warped tour tickets. victor is cool. we've been hanging out a lot, which is nice considering i usually end up watching will and grace with the cats most nights. i had the morning off, so i slept until noon and then i went grocery shopping which means i have crushed melon soda!!!!!!! i also got a&w for lunch. overall, it's been a great day and i hope tonight makes it even better.

strange night

i wanted to be in bed by midnight, but my ride didn't get me home till 3. we played drinking games, but i only had a water. i watched soccer and kind of understood it. the fireworks were kind of sucky. i made friends with the gas station attendents. it was a strange night.

now i'm stuck at work till 5. after that, i'm gonna read a newspaper or eight and then go to bed early cuz i'm sleepy.

family reunion part 1

sooo.... tomorrow night is the jansen family reunion. can't wait.

at least i get to see my cool relatives. the shitty ones come next month. well, some of the shitty ones will be there tomorrow, but those are my immediate family, not the extended.

there are many frustrations to bitch about, but i'm not going to. mostly, work is bugging me a lot. so much indecision goes on between my boss and my other coworkers, mainly regarding hours. mine have been changed again for the fifth time since i started working full time. my boss treats me like shit for example:
boss: can you stamp this envelope for me?
me: do you know how to work the machine?
boss: yes. but i'm too tired right now, so can you?
me: grumbles
